Welcome to the Starsavers App, a digital platform operated by Star Oil Limited. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the App, which is designed for customers of the Company who purchase fuel and all related services made available through it.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you disagree, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is available to individuals who are:

• At least 18 years old, and
• Registered customers of Star Oil Limited.

By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements. The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility criteria.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, users must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account, whether authorized or not.

If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify the Company immediately. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of fraud, misuse, or security breaches.

4. App Features and Services

The App offers registered users a convenient digital platform to:

• Purchase fuel and related products at participating Star Oil outlets.
• View and download transaction history and receipts.
• Access loyalty programs, promotional offers, and rewards.
• Locate nearby fuel stations using integrated GPS mapping.

The Company may enhance, modify, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice. Certain features may require internet connectivity and may be affected by network availability.

5. Payments and Transactions

• All payments through the App must be legitimate and authorized by the account holder.
• The Company is not responsible for failed or erroneous transactions caused by incorrect payment details, insufficient funds, or third-party payment processor issues.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be handled according to the Company’s refund policy.
• Users must verify transaction details before confirming any purchase.

6. Loyalty Programs and Promotions

• Participation in loyalty schemes, promotional offers, and reward programs is voluntary and subject to the specific terms stated within the App.
• The Company reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate any loyalty program or promotion without prior notice.
• Points, coupons, or rewards may have expiration dates and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal information will be collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the Star Oil Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws in Ghana. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data for purposes including service delivery, customer support, analytics, and compliance.

8. Acceptable Use and User Conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and lawfully. Specifically, you must not:

• Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized use of the App.

• Reverse-engineer, modify, or attempt to access the App’s source code or backend systems.
• Exploit promotions, referral systems, or coupons in bad faith.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently block any account found in violation of these rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free functionality, or complete security of transmissions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• Loss of data, business opportunities, or
• Damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App, even if foreseeable.

Users are encouraged to ensure their mobile devices are secure and updated.

10. Suspension and Termination

The Company may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account or restrict App access if:

• You violate these Terms
• There is suspected fraudulent activity, or
• Required by law or regulatory authorities.

You may close your account at any time by following the in-app procedures. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

11. Changes to Terms

The Company may update these Terms periodically. Notice of significant changes will be provided through the App or via SMS. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

Any disputes shall first be addressed through the Company’s customer support team. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to arbitration or the appropriate Ghanaian courts.
